Recently internationalisation of universities is a key factor and, as evidence of the Széchenyi University?s strong commitment to internationalisation, from September 2019, twenty-four English-taught programmes at all academic levels are on offer. One of the courses is BA in International Relations. The undergraduate programme in International Relations is for individuals who are sensitive to global problems, open to other cultures, and are prepared to handle a broad range of evidence and analyse complex issues. It is a multidisciplinary programme which combines a wide range of courses in international relations, history, economics, political science, foreign languages, sociology and regional studies, among other disciplines. The programme trains the students to be well informed about generally accepted tendencies, characteristics and data on universal political, economic and cultural phenomena. They will thus have deeper insights into and understanding of relations of various nations and cultures. The purpose of this paper is (1) to describe the research conducted prior to the course development process, e.g. analysis of the new national requirements for the International Relations BA course, the curricula at international and national levels and the findings of a questionnaire-based research conducted among the former students at International Relations BA course. After presenting the preparatory process (2) the programme will be examined and discussed focusing on the aim and the content of the course, the structure of studies, the academic and language requirements. IS MONOPOLY IN WASTE MANAGEMENT A SOLUTION? Abstract: Circular economy is a considerably new concept, that has appeared on the economic horizon during the last decade and it seems that it will revolutionary change the existing business as usual model. Although, if analysing the key concepts of circular economy one can come to a conclusion that there is nothing radically new about it. The finite amount of resources among with scarcity and progressing increase of global population have lead to comprehension that material and product re-use, repair and resource saving need to be enhanced in a urgent pace. One industry extensively covered by circular economy elements is waste management. Across Europe it varies significantly, from countries focusing on recycling and recovery, disposing already below 5% of household waste to the countries, which are still lagging behind and just introducing best available Technologies and currently still relying heavily on disposal (over 40%). Within the present research the authors would like to analyse the benefits and drawbacks of one of solutions ? implementing lng-term monopoly via Public-Private partnership. The research is based on statistical data analysis, benchmarking and expert methods, it uses mostly secondary data. The authors have concluded that unfortunately no one-size-fits-all solution is possible in this field, although decision-makers can evaluate best practices and develop a solution that can be applicable to a certain city or region, taking into consideration it?s specifics. Positive laws in the North Macedonia have also included some of the international standards (reflected in relevant international conventions); and there is also a care system for children without parents; while there are also missing "symbolic" budgetary tools foreseen to develop activities in this area. However, the Republic of Northern Macedonia, as well as other transition countries, continues to have problems in sound structuring of social policies in general and in particular faces difficulties with the care of children without parents. This study aims through the analysis of official data to highlight the problems faced by children without parental care; the level of realization of children's rights in the respective institutions; and make recommendations regarding the improvement of the social care system. Through an analysis of the fundamental problems faced by relevant institutions in the practical implementation of social services for children without parental care, I claim to encourage improvements in government policies for sound institutional, professional and financial support for a worthy human parental care treatment; as well as to provide the reader and the academic community with information on the current state of play in this sector of social care.In this paper, statistical data have been analyzed by the State Statistical Office and interviews were conducted with the authorities of the institutions responsible for the care of children without parents. The methodology used in this study is: review of data from reports - statistics, documents, strategies, budget, positive laws review, and interviews with officials in the framework of care institutions. It is concluded that current policies are not suitable for the proper treatment of children without parents, therefore a more proactive and inclusive approach is required from relevant political and institutional actors in this area. We show examples of classification diagrams of objects related to bioinformatics, medicine, and social science. In particular, we present a bioinformatics method designed by us and called 2D-Dynamic Representation of DNA/RNA Sequences [1,2]. In this non-standard approach the sequences are represented as point-masses in a 2D space. This mathematical method facilitates the creation of the classification diagrams in which different kinds of sequences are separated. Analogous diagrams we have obtained in social science - different groups of people are separated according to some, properly selected, criteria. In this case, a classifier is a kind of an answers to some questions. We have shown that this method can be a good tool for studies of the retirement threshold [3,4]. In the present work we also show some unpublished results related to the quality of life of the patients with voice disorders in inflammatory, neoplastic and neurological diseases of the larynx.[1] D. International and national regulations require the use of sustainable production methods. This means that the attention focused on the current recommendations shifts from a set of minimum requirements to recognize environmental effects throughout the life cycle of products. Farming and food production are also expected to comply with the second pillar of sustainability which is related to the economic aspects of production. Important operational dimension of sustainability assessment is a concept of eco-efficiency, which is defined as creating more value or generating less cost with less environmental impact. Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and Life Cycle Costing (LCC) are appropriate methodologies to investigate the eco-efficiency of production systems within the life cycle. The aim of the study was to perform the comparative analysis of cash crop production in different farming types by applying the LCA and LCC methods. Carbon Footprint (CF) was applied as a single most important measure of environmental impact of production. The study was conducted in 69 farms, located in the Wielkopolska and Lubelskie regions (Poland) during the period 2017-2018. The analysed farms represented key agricultural activities, according to the classification of the EU: a) milk production, b) pig production, c) field crops, d) mixed livestock production (pig and milk). The chosen types of production are represented by the largest number of farms in Poland. The selection of the study group, according to the set criteria, were based on the information of Wielkopolski and Lubelski Agricultural Advisory Centres. The LCA and LCC analysis were carried out in similar phases corresponding to LCA standard: goal and scope definition, environmental life cycle inventory, life cycle impact assessment and interpretation. In winter rape production average value of CF was equal to 1003 kg CO2 eq per 1 tonne of grain (functional unit). The highest value of CF was observed in milk farming in Wielkopolska region of 1254 kg CO2 eq. Average aggregated cost of production related to the functional unit was 1084 PLN, with the highest value of 1222 PLN found in the pig farming in Lubelski region. Preproduction phases linked with the direct inputs levels contributed mostly to a high overall cost of rape production in pig farming and to the CF value of winter rape in farms specialised in milk production. *This work is a part of a research project No. 2016/21/B/HS4/01963 financed by the National Science Centre, Poland. The present study investigates a link between macro-level innovation performance and inward foreign direct investments in conditions of Slovakia. The results of regression analysis covering the period between 2003-2017 showed that innovation performance measured by gross expenditures on research and development is negatively influenced by foreign direct investment inflows, especially by greenfield investment projects allocated in Slovakia. This negative effect is even more significant on lagged level, namely one year after the investment allocation. A case of Slovakia Abstract: Foreign direct investments (FDI) are generally considered as key drivers of economic development of the country. However, studies confirming significant effects of inward FDI on macroeconomic performance especially in conditions of the Central European countries are rather scare. The present paper investigates effects of different types of inward FDI, namely cross-border mergers and acquisitions and greenfield investment projects on the macroeconomic performance measured by GDP per capita in conditions of Slovakia. The results of regression analysis for the period of 2003-2018 show rather negative impact of greenfield investments allocated in Slovakia as well as cross border sales of local companies on the level of GDP per capita of the host country. The root of the problems can be found in the quality of labour force and the improper marketing. External specialists are required mostly for administrative duties (in field of book-keeping, taxation and application-writing). The assessment for improving the competitiveness has got less importance. Our questionnaire targeted the economic and financial problems of social enterprises. Based on the result of this survey we created the financing pecking order model for social cooperatives in Hungary. We adapted the traditional pecking order theory invented by Myers (1984) to the financing mix of Hungarian social enterprises. We found that public funds play a dominant role in the external financing of social enterprises (focusing on social cooperatives). State subsidies are most important, but the financial and managerial contribution of local governments is also essential for successful operation. To improve the marketing of products we recommend social cooperatives to use a managerial income statement to determine the most profitable products and markets. A year later, the Tokyo Metropolitan Board of Education (TMBOE) distributed the Welcome to Tokyo series of textbooks to all students at grade five and above at public elementary schools in the Tokyo Metropolitan area. The general intention was to bolster young students? English skills. However, rather than focusing on language acquisition, critics have revealed that two main discourses are repeated throughout the policy documents issued by both MEXT and TMBOE. Namely, ?developing human resources? and ?nurturing Japanese identity.? Hiroshi Miyashita has argued that ?careful attention should be paid to these measures because they have potential to lead students to exclusivism or even nationalism without extra care? (Miyashita, 2017). In regards to the subtext and efficacy of these policies, this paper examines the Welcome to Tokyo series. By means of discourse analysis and taking into consideration content, lexical range, representation of race and gender, word frequency and structure, I question the text?s overall suitability for effective English language acquisition in an increasingly internationalized environment. To conclude, a brief summary offering suggestions for improvement and advice for educators in this context will be provided. Therefore, the introduction of reverse logistics management in the waste liquid recycling industry is an important issue. Domestic companies face many management problems when they enter the waste recycling industry. It is important to choose key factors for efficient management. This study first explores and establishes the management factors related to the waste solution recycling industry through literature review and expert opinions and experience, and then constructs and establishes the management factors of the waste solution recycling industry through DEMATEL-based ANP (DANP). Research results show that the criteria of "momentum in dealing liquid waste", "environmental policies and regulations ", "amount of waste", "equipment cost" and "secondary pollution " are revealed to be the signifi-cant criteria of management in the wastewater treatment industry. The assumption that guide the paper is that individualistic nations are risk-takers and tend to show higher innovation rates; whereas countries whose relations are more hierarchical, and therefore with high power distance, tend to be less innovative. It was conducted a multivariate data analysis from 56 nations, divided into developed and emerging countries, according to the International Monetary Fund criteria, that defines 36 countries as "advanced economies". The results indicate that confidence in population is related to a country?s degree of innovation. Nations with greater trust between individuals who are related tend to have a higher innovation index, while, on the other hand, countries in where people tend to have greater confidence in their neighborhood and community, have a lower chance of being innovative. Buildings in cities can account to about 80% for carbon monoxide emitted. Therefore, the built environment is a very critical part of the climate change mitigation. Evaluated in this research are energy efficiency measures that can be implemented through regulations and controls. From administered questionnaires, the issues of energy efficiency have become an imperative principle in the building sector and the way it is managed in South Africa. Based on the analysis provided, energy efficient behaviour is the predominant factor that influences energy consumption. According to the PCA results, seven variables (Age of building, number of bedrooms, roofing materials, energy for cooking and heating, window style and brick and concrete wall) were all dominant variables and these variables remain significant after implementing multiple regression models to estimate energy cost. Abstract: The Gulf represents a sub-region of the greater Middle Eastern regional system with its own security and political practices and challenges. Within the Gulf Cooperation Council established in 1981, there exists general agreement on the types of current challenges that need to be confronted but there has never been clear consensus as to the type of strategies and policy tools that could be applied to begin to tackle them. Recent crises on the doorsteps of the Gulf region (Yemen, Syria) however pushed the GCC to be more aggressive in its response by sending financial aid or getting involved militarily. The region does need a security structure but needs to decide which route to follow. The first option is the European Union Security and Defense Policy as a model. The EU advanced its foreign policy agenda using its soft power and thrived at spreading prerogatives and expertise in areas such as conflict management and peace-building while slowly integrating its defence capabilities. The second option is within the framework of NATO since the US has had a military presence in the region and has had close relationships with member states. In terms of US security strategy, the stability of the Gulf is a critical just like Europe. NATO and four of the GCC members (The UAE, Kuwait, Bahrain and Qatar) already members of the Istanbul Co-operation Initiative, which started in 2004 (Saudi Arabia and Oman have been invited but have not agreed yet.)The framework provides the members advice on defense transformation, defense budgeting, defense planning and civil-military relations, military-to-military cooperation to contribute to interoperability through participation in selected military exercises and related education and training activities that could improve the ability of participating countries' forces to operate with those of the Alliance. The third option would be its own structure including states beyond the GCC such as Egypt and Jordan: that is the idea of an Arab NATO or The Middle East Strategic Alliance (MESA) conceived to meet U.S. needs?to target Iran and to reduce U.S. regional presence without allowing China or Russia to gain influence?while disregarding the priorities, and constraints of prospective Arab member states. In reality, GCC buy weapons from Europe, China, Russia. China just established a military base in Djibouti. So the question is what should the GCC security architecture look like? ESDP and NATO had both a common purpose. The purpose of an Arab security structure is not so clear. For example, not all Arab states make Iran as a priority issue. The structure should promote the members interest and not just a major one and external powers. MESA is criticized for serving mainly US and Saudi interests. Another issue is whether to start an alliance or to improve an existing structure: the GCC already has interoperability in place and NATO has created the Istanbul Cooperation Initiative. The paper will look into those three options for the GCC: improving the exiting GCC framework for security, strengthening the relationship with NATO or creating a body including non GCC members. Thus, it is helpful to cooperate with other hospitals, perhaps in the neighbourhood as a network to exchange resources such as technical equipment or medi-cal staff such as qualified nurses who are in high demand. To solve this problem we can trans-fer some theoretical aspects from other similar situations such as network cooperation in con-nected industry-companies. This only works by using modern Information Technology based on internet technology and connected IT-Processes. In Germany, the government has implemented an extensive scientific and industrial project called ?Industry 4.0?.The idea behind "Industry 4.0" is that all industry processes use digital methods, which are connected but decentralized.Through the use of Smart technology (computer, smartphone or personal digital assistant - PDA), a Digital Twin representing a complete digital footprint of all units, products and re-sources which are not digital (i.e. human employees) can be created and all digital processes work together (cloud based) to solve problems in real time. This idea of "Industry 4.0" is useful for Hospital Networks, which often have similar structures. To develop Industry 4.0 for Hospital Networks, we need a special modelling method. An exten-sion of the value stream model (the IT-value stream model) can fulfil this task. In this publica-tion, we demonstrate how an extension of the value stream model can solve the resource prob-lems in Hospital Networks. The solution based on Kuhnian analysis of scientific revolutions assumes the origins of technological changes to be independent of market factors, but ultimately validated by these same factors. This paper demonstrates that technological selection actually occurs within market processes, when entrepreneurs use their judgment to interpret and evaluate the scope of the habitual, conventional, and institutional routines shaping the social environment. Since entrepreneurs specialize around their idiosyncratic interpretations, business paradigms emerge that comprise different technological paradigms. Therefore, business paradigms instrumentally use technological paradigms in order to better correspond to the socially routinized and non-routinized behavior of market agents. The evidence shows that, in many developed countries, fiscal decentralisation has occurred almost exclusively through devolution of expenditure activities, while a large part of the regional and local government expenditures is funded primarily by intergovernmental grants, revenue-sharing programs, or other centrally controlled funds. Measurement-wise, this suggests that taxes should be refined in terms of the degree of autonomy they provide to sub-national governments. In the relevant empirical studies, it is a common practice to use accounting measures of either revenue or spending shares for sub-national relative to general government as a proxy for fiscal decentralisation. However, those two accounting measures may not capture accurately the phenomenon of fiscal decentralisation. The two standard sources of data for fiscal decentralisation have been the IMF?s Government Finance Statistics (GFS) where the intergovernmental fiscal structure of countries is not captured properly and OECD?s measure of revenue decentralisation where taxes are classified in terms of the degree of autonomy they provide to sub-national governments. As an improved measure of revenue decentralisation, Stegarescu (2005) constructs an appropriate measure of fiscal decentralisation; namely, ?purified? sub-national own-source revenues as a share of total government revenues. The main aim of this paper is to compare in details the above mentioned measures of fiscal decentralisation, and evaluate the bias in the accounting measures compared to a ?purified? measure that accounts for the real fiscal autonomy of sub-national governments by comparing the results gained through estimation of the government sector size model using the pooled mean group (PMG) estimation approach. On the other hand, child is one of the groups whose existence is least taken into consideration when making urban arrangements. Many children living in today's cities are not able to spend time in the open space during their childhood due to their parents' busy work tempo, urban open and green deficiencies and lack of activity types. Studies reveal that children who are exposed to the stress of the city and who grow up in cities that cannot spend enough time with their families in outdoor areas may have feelings of anger and even hostility towards their parents. In this study, a questionnaire was applied to measure the contribution of families participating in activities in urban open spaces of Düzce to the participation of urban open space activities in good parenting and physical and psychological development of their children. Within the scope of the study, 100 families were interviewed and the survey results were analyzed in SPSS 22.0 Program. Frequency and percentage, average and one-way analysis of variance were applied. It was found that the families of the children who participated in urban outdoor activities more frequently, spend more time in the playgrounds with their children and participated in the after-work games were defined as children with higher self-esteem, self-distraction, and easily happy. In clinical situations, caregivers use ultrasonic sensors for monitoring accumulated urinary volume in the bladder so that they can take older patients to the toilet before urinary incontinence. However, if the caregiver is delayed in checking the accumulated urinary volume, the patient may experience urinary incontinence. While making nursing schedules for excretion management, caregivers may find it useful if they could predict the accumulated urinary volume in the bladder immediately after urination. Hence, in this study, we propose a prediction method based on the urinary accumulation model and absorption spectrum of urine. The urinary accumulation model contains three parameters: the time when urine starts to accumulate after urination; the amount of urine that can be accumulated in the bladder; and the time constant of urine accumulation. Thus, if these parameters can be determined immediately after urination, the accumulated urinary volume can be predicted using this model. To determine the values of these three parameters, we used the absorption spectrum of urine, as an explanatory variable, in the ridge regression technique. The values of the three parameters (as objective variables in the ridge regression) were obtained from output signals of the ultrasonic sensor using the internal point method. To evaluate the proposed method, we performed a validity experiment with a male subject in his 20s. The ultrasonic sensor was attached to subjects to measure accumulated urinary volume in the bladder. The subject was asked to rest during measurement. Urine samples were collected at arbitrary intervals. Absorption spectrum analysis was performed with the urine samples. The volume of the sampled urine was measured using the measuring cup. After urination, the subject was asked to drink 300 ml of water and rest again. The above procedure was repeated. In this experiment, we obtain 42 datasets in total from the subject. We calculated the rate of error between volume of the collected urine and the urinary volume predicted by the proposed model at the time of urination. Our results showed that the average error rate for the proposed method was 22.22% and for the ultrasonic sensor was 24.14%. This result indicates that the proposed method may be useful for predicting the accumulated urinary volume in the bladder. Qualitative screening (GC/MS) of the RNS revealed the presence of fourteen organic acids and among all, benzoic and phthalic acids as the main inhibitors were selected for quantitative (HPLC) analysis. The biochar was prepared at temperature of 300 °C and the obtained biochar was subsequently characterized by SEM, BET and FTIR analysis. In order to evaluate the adsorption isotherm, Langmuir and Freundlich adsorption isotherm models were fit to the experimental data. The Langmuir model best represented the experimental data for both benzoic and phthalic acids, exhibiting high linear correlation coefficients (R2 ? 0.98).The study revealed this biochar is a promising alternative for granular activated carbon with respect to RNS recovery at a greatly reduced cost. It has been proven that there is a strong link between social origin, educational attainment, and social destination in terms of economic success. However, there is still widespread disagreement as to whether social origin has an influence on later children income. The results of previous studies are not unequivocal in their findings and contradict each other in the effects observed. It?s also still completely unclear whether there are differences between the genders. However, studies based on correlations between siblings or twins show that there is a strong correlation between social origin and economic success achieved in later working life. But these studies only show that there are effects and not which mechanisms are responsible for them. But it is very important to understand these mechanisms as they are responsible for the persistence of social inequality and gender differences. In this study, I take up the proposal by Bukodi & Goldthorpe (2013) to decompose social origin into its main factors parental class, status and education in order to examine the distinct effect on income over the life course. To do this, I use the data from the German LifE-Study, one of the longest running longitudinal studies in the German regions following the life courses of N=1.359 individuals from the ages of 12 to 45. Different linear regressions and linear structural equation models show that the three factors of social origin have different effects on income. These effects also differ between age 35 and age 45 of the analyzed individuals and largely between men and women. For women not only their own education is responsible for the returns to education, it?s also the social background in which they grew up. However, few studies have focused on Instagram addiction despite the increasing number of Instagram users in recent years. This study seeks to clarify the relationship between Instagram addiction among university students in Japan and the psychology of internet behaviour. In this study, a questionnaire was conducted with 93 Japanese university students, assuming that psychological status and behaviour in communication on the internet affect Instagram addiction. Young?s 20-item Internet Addiction Test was used to measure the degree of Instagram addiction. The scale was modified for application to Instagram addiction: the psychological scale of communication on the internet was previously used in the study of addiction to SNS other than Instagram. As a result of the survey, it became clear that Instagram addiction is correlated to emotional reaction to the internet, consideration for posting expression and a sense of belonging. In addition, it was revealed that use time of Instagram, number of followers and number of followings are correlated with Instagram addiction. Instagram addiction is not correlated with a skill for not caring . In conclusion, the present study suggests that the amount of use of Instagram, the size of Instagram connections, the emotional connection with others and approval desire are related to Instagram addiction. More than 30% of ischemic heart disease patients have sleep apnea syndrome. Since it is difficult to detect whether a patient has sleep apnea syndrome; the consultation rate remains at 15%. Hence, routine monitoring is necessary to identify suspected patients. Many kinds of research on apnea detection have been conducted so far. The authors have also proposed a pneumatic method to measure a respiration signal unconstrainedly. In this study, we propose an unconstrained system to detect each occurrence of an apnea event by applying an autoencoder with two layers to the respiration signal. In the proposed method, we measure a signal from a pressure sensor placed under a mattress on which a person is lying. To obtain the respiration signal, a digital band-pass filter with cut-off frequencies ranging from 0.15 to 0.45 Hz is applied to the output signal from the pressure sensor. Wavelet transform is applied to the filtered respiration signal to obtain time-frequency distributions that represent frequencies characteristic for each time step. Then, the time-frequency characteristic sends inputs to an autoencoder with two layers and the dimensions of the time-frequency distribution is compressed. The proposed method consists of two phases: a training phase and a detection phase. In the training phase, the compressed data with supervised data that is expressed as 0 or 1(0: respiration, 1: apnea) is used to train a classification model including softmax function. In the detection phase, to detect an apnea event, the compressed data without supervised data is applied to the trained classification model. In the verification experiment, we prepared five subjects with variations in height and weight and acquired each subject?s data in four recumbent positions. Data obtained was a total of 20 (five subjects×four recumbent positions). The dimension of time-frequency distribution was set to 113. In the first layer, the dimension was compressed to 75 dimensions; and in the second layer, 75 dimensions were compressed to 50. The performance of the proposed method is evaluated by the leave-one-subject-out and leave-one-recumbent-position-out cross-validations. Based on results of cross-validations on all 20 data, the average correct answer rate was 0.90 for both the subjects and the recumbent positions. These results demonstrate that the proposed system was not susceptible to the subject and the recumbent position. It requires daily measurements of blood pressure to reduce the risk of developing other associated diseases. It is especially difficult to measure blood pressure at night because the present measurement method requires compressing the patient?s arm using a cuff, which cannot be performed during sleep. In this study, we propose an unconstrained systolic blood pressure estimation method that considers time dynamics of blood pressure change during sleep on the basis of a transfer function model. In the proposed method, 12 features that relate to stroke volume, heart rate, blood vessel diameter, and vascular hardness are calculated in an unconstrained manner from the heartbeat signal measured by the pneumatic method. Taking time dynamics into account, a transfer function is constructed using the 12 features calculated from the heartbeat signal as inputs to estimate blood pressure at the current time. The features are measured for the past 70 minutes considering the ultradian rhythm. We conducted a validation experiment in six healthy subjects. The subjects were asked to sleep during the night on an ordinary bed equipped with a pneumatic bio-signal measurement system. To obtain the true systolic blood pressure as a reference, the subjects wore the cuff of an automatic sphygmomanometer around the left arm. True systolic blood pressure was measured every 10-minutes. The heartbeat signal of the subject was obtained by applying a band-pass filter with a range of 0.8?6 Hz to the output signal from the pneumatic method. The 12 features were then calculated from the heartbeat signal. To obtain the transfer function model, we performed subspace identification with the 12 measured features as input signals, and one output signal corresponding to blood pressure. Leave-one-subject-out cross-validation was applied to evaluate the accuracy of the proposed method; i.e. the transfer function was identified using five subjects? heartbeat signal data, and the blood pressure of the left-out-subject was estimated by the transfer function. Finally, we calculated the correlation coefficient between all estimated blood pressure and true blood pressure measurements. The correlation coefficient between the systolic blood pressure estimated by the proposed method and the true blood pressure measured by the sphygmomanometer was 0.81. This shows that systolic blood pressure estimated by our method is comparable to true measures of blood pressure using a sphygmomanometer. This method may be useful for monitoring blood pressure at night without disturbing sleeping patients. The number of systematic and nonsystematic errors indicate that there was about 52% more singleton preterm deliveries in Denmark in 1982 than previously reported (6.9% instead of 4.5%). It is concluded that the validity of the Danish birth registers should be improved by explicit definitions, increased use of raw data, and data collection by motivated professionals at birth. Japanese adults are recommended to sleep for 7?9 hours per night and to accumulate 150 minutes of moderate-to-vigorous physical activity (MVPA) each week. However, sleep deprivation has become a serious social problem. In this study, in order to clarify the relationship between core temperature and bedroom environment / daily activities during sleep, we propose an estimation model of core temperature from the data of body surface temperature, bedroom temperature, bed temperature, bedroom humidity, bedroom carbon dioxide number, heart rate etc. using neural network model. Also, we use sleeping time data (waking time, shallow sleeping time, REM sleeping time, deep sleeping time) as output information, using bedroom environment data like bedroom temperature, humidity, carbon dioxide number etc. and physical activity information every day as input information, and evaluate daily sleep quality by data envelopment analysis (DEA model). By doing this, we clarify the tendency of sleep, try to make an improvement plan aiming for a sleeping life by preparing regular sleeping habits. In the presentation it will be discussed research on love as a key element of health, wellbeing and positive human development. People live in a network of relationships and their ability to build and maintain realationships is an important strength. Love has many definitions and also many forms and faces. The presentation provides a comprehensive analysis on love in various areas of human beings? life ? the emergence and manifestation of romantic love in various phases of life, love in education, love for work, for fellow humans ? and in relation to other phenomena, such as friendship, play, and creativity. When dissecting love along the course of life, parental love and also grandparental love secures children's well-being and teachers´ pedagogical love trusts in pupils' learning. The first taste of falling in love can manifest itself in the form of the sweet poison of love and still is quite far from actual love. The ability to love is an important, yet difficult, skill. There are numerous theories that explain the phases of long-lasting marriages and divorces, too. Nevertheless, love does not retire and the fascination of love does not fade, not even in senior age. Other topical phenomena of love are, for example, love for work and the successful combination of work and family.Love in its whole gamut is connected to human wellbeing and development in different areas and phases of human life. Love, as its best, is manifested by the endeavor to make things develop, grow, and come forward, whether love falls on other people, art, science, ideas, or nature. A world where it is safe to love is a world where it is safe to live. The presentation concentrates on the best sides of love and I conclude that love, in its various forms, makes the best health insurance. Abstract: For the last several decades, governments have implemented various energy conservation measures aimed at reducing energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions from the transportation sector. Among these measures, the spread of next-generation vehicles as an immediate policy goal has been particularly emphasized in recent years. By implementing subsidy programs for a limited period of time, governments try to influence the behavior of households that have not previously considered purchasing the products that have desirable properties. However, no literature has yet identified the households that switched from conventional gasoline vehicles to HVs. In this study, we compare the vehicle choice between three sampling periods (before/during/after the Eco-Car rebate program) and examine whether the rebate program changed the customer base of HVs.For the empirical analysis, we use micro-level data from the Japanese National Survey of Family Income and Expenditure (NSFE), which was collected in 2009 and 2014. NSFE collects data on households? socioeconomic characteristics, such as income/expenditure, savings/liabilities, and ownership of durable goods, as well as information related to houses, such as dwelling characteristics and site area. In addition, NSFE also collects vehicle-related information such as the number of vehicles owned, the year of purchase of each vehicle, and the type of vehicle. The empirical results by multinomial logit analysis demonstrate that the likelihood of HV selection increased substantially during the program period and remained at a high level after the program ended. We also find that households with large net wealth purchased HVs during the Eco-Car program period. Finally, we find that households having a higher income used to purchase HVs earlier. However, income has come to play a less important role in the choice between a HV and SGV after the end of the Eco-Car program. This opening slide set advances McMillan 2015 (IISES Amsterdam) and McMillan 2017 (IISES Vienna) and focuses on the lateral integration of the three primary macro conceptual areas of political, economic/demographic and geopolitical frameworks to generate a "unified theory of the philosophical and social sciences."? Specifically, the three essential frameworks are. (1) Aristotle's Six Forms of Government, (2) the per capita GNP ratio signifying economic growth/population growth proportions, and (3) the Four Category Geopolitical Form Model framework of First, Second, Third and Fourth World country gradations. ? These three frameworks: (a) explain the full range of behavior pertaining to their respective area, (b) can incorporate all the subfield theories in their respective areas, (c) vary directly with one another in terms of a tight vs catastrophically loose wage labor price continuum, which (d) integrates the primary macro disciplines into a singular causal model. ? The independent variable of interval level Government Form interval level model of Aristotle. links the economic growth/population rates of change proportions because liberal democracies and First World countries only seem to exist in relatively tight wage labor market conditions, i.e. high economic growth and low population growth proportions. The Government Form Categories and the per capita GNP ratio link directly to the two primary trends of technology and population growth throughout history, that give rise to the two secondary trends of migration of First World manufacturing facilities to the South, and the mass migration of people to the North to explain current geopolitical outcomes. ? This system of frameworks links to the persistent primary and secondary trends to explain the permanently declining global wage labor equilibrium process as it directly the changing of geopolitical Forms over the next few decades. This system measures relative equality-inequality and relative stability-instability continuums that covary with the tight vs catastrophically lose wage labor continuum. This integrated model affirms Harsanyi?s (1969) assertion that the isolated subfield theories do not adequately anticipate first, second and third order effects. ? This system achieves the three longstanding objectives of the behavioral economics movement of: (a) Harsanyi?s ?integrated explanatory theory? and ?core model? of the social sciences discussed in his 1960, 1966 and 1969 papers, (b) it extends the Integrated Causal Model (ICM) of Tooby and Cosmides 1992 throughout the philosophical and social sciences, and (c) achieves Gintis? 2006 and 2009 ?unification of the behavioral sciences.? This material is based on the coupling of magnetic nanoparticles and graphene oxide (MNPs@GO). Graphene oxide (GO) presents a high surface area to volume ratio, and high rate of diffusion in water. However it is tedious and difficult to separate GO from the aqueous solution. The coupling with magnetic nanoparticles provides an easy magnetic separation. Thus, MNPs@GO has demonstrated to be an excellent adsorbent material towards to organic compounds but not to ionic metals. For this reason, a chelating group is attached to the material surface: [1,5-bis(2-pyridyl)-3-methylene] thiocarbonohydrazide (DPTH) in order to increase the selectivity for metal ions. To establish which is the best route of synthesis, two different strategies were designed (method 1 and method 2). The two new materials obtained, called DPTH(1) and DPTH(2), were characterized and their properties as extractants were studied. Several analytical techniques were used to characterize them; TEM, XPS, CNHS elemental analysis and FT IR. To conclude, the DPTH(2) showed better properties as extractant, even at trace levels. However, few studies related to STAI have considered the network structure of the brain, despite the importance of analyzing how information is propagated through brain networks. In this study, we define an anxiety propagation network structure from cerebral blood flow, and propose an STAI score for a state anxiety estimation method based on the network. In the proposed method, we assume that anxiety is propagated via an anxiety propagation network, and that cerebral blood flow in the prefrontal area is affected by this propagation. We construct a dynamic Bayesian anxiety propagation network based on blood flow measured by multi-channel NIRS in the prefrontal area. In the constructed network, anxiety is propagated between nodes, and dependence relationships between nodes are represented by edges. The degree of dependence between nodes is expressed as the probability. To decrease the effect of the distance between nodes, probabilities are weighted according to Euclidian distance, and features are calculated by summing the weighted probabilities for each node. Finally, the STAI score for state anxiety is estimated by applying the features to a multiple regression analysis as the explanatory variables. We conducted the validation experiment with 24 male and 24 female subjects. All subjects were scored by the STAI test. After scoring, the subjects set the wearable topography with ten channels to the prefrontal area. Each subject was asked to rest for 120 seconds to measure blood flow. The dynamic Bayesian network was created for all 48 data points, and its features were calculated. To evaluate effect to the blood flow due to gender and hormone difference, we compared four cases of the gender gap combination of the training data and test data for the multiple regression analysis. In all cases, the accuracy of the proposed method was evaluated by the correlation coefficient. In the training data for males, the correlation coefficients for male and female test data were 0.66 and 0.63, respectively. When training data were for females, the correlation coefficients for male and female test data were 0.52 and -0.65. We found that when the training data were for males, the correlation coefficient was larger, even if the test data were for females. We investigate blood viscosity and harmonic distortion using a model with the assumption that high blood viscosity caused by high blood glucose level generates turbulence in blood flow. This consequently leads to the distortion of fundamental frequency of pulsation. Therefore, the harmonic components appear owing to the pressure on the vascular wall. Using the proposed non-invasive method, we calculate the amplitude of the harmonic components. The blood glucose level is estimated with a single regression model whose explanatory variable is the calculated harmonic component. Through validation experiment with 33 measured data, the third harmonic component achieved the highest estimation accuracy with 60% of the data meeting the ISO criteria. Previous studies have proposed appearance inspection method utilizing peripheral vision, and the effectiveness of the inspection method has been verified in the case of simple inspection surfaces. However, it is unclear whether the method can be applied for complex inspection surfaces. Although a previous study assumed the complexity of inspection of surfaces sensuously, a quantitative evaluation method of inspection surfaces is required. This study considers such an evaluation method and applies it on the actual products. Specifically, the evaluation method uses definitions with two indexes: color complexity and structure/shape complexity. The former uses information entropy, which is an index indicating the uncertainty of each item. It is defined by H = -? _(i = 1)^n?p(i)*log p(i) ? and takes values from 0 to 8. The latter uses the fractal dimension, which is an index considering expansion of the phase dimension. It is defined by -D = ( log N(a) ? log ?a ) - C and takes values from 0 to 2. Furthermore, the complexity of the inspection surface is evaluated using various pictures captured by manufacturers. Two competing theories that explicate the capital structure are old-fashioned pecking order and static trade-off model. From existing literature reviews, we select seven traditional factors: profitability, asset structure, size, liquidity, non-debt tax shields, dividend policy and growth as explanatory variables. While long-term debt and total debt are used as proxies for dependent variables. This study uses secondary data collected from annual financial statements of companies in SET 100 index exclude financial business sector. All firms rank highest market capitalization and top trading liquidity in Thailand Stock Exchange for a period of 10 years during 2009-2018. After examine the data, only 760 samples are qualified under criteria. Two panel multiple regression models are implemented for statistic testing at the significant level 0.05.The results for model 1 (Long term debt) show positive and statistical significant effect of asset structure, size, liquidity and growth. While other three factors comprising profitability, non-debt tax shield and dividend policy indicate negative statistical relationships. The results for model 2 (Total debt) show positive and statistical significant effect of asset structure and growth. Whereas, two factors including profitability and liquidity display negative statistical correlation. The results of the two models are consistent with the Pecking Order theory for profitability and growth. High growth firms have higher need for funds then expect to borrow more. While asset structure is consistent with trade-off theory which hold that there should be a positive relationship between fixed assets and debt since fixed assets can serve as collateral. The explanatory variables which have the highest impact on capital structure choices for long term debt and total debt are non-debt tax shield and profitability respectively. Other independent variables such as product uniqueness, risk and macroeconomic indicators are subject to future research. For this purpose, firstly, the development pattern of Turkish total military expenditure (in constant 2017 US$) is evaluated over 66 years from 1953 to 2018. Next, the statistics on the military expenditure per capita (1988-2018) is analyzed in order to analyze how a change occurs on the expenditure with increasing population. In order to determine how the defense industry evolved in a developing economy, we also examine the expenditure statistics as a share of Turkish government expenditure (2000-2018 period) and GDP (1960-2018 period). Finally, the position and importance of the Turkish defense industry in the world, and in Europe and Middle East region is revealed when compared to other 173 countries. Main findings of the study could be summarized in the following way. The statistics reveal that the industry ranks 14th in the world and 6th in Europe, with a total expenditure of US$ 22B in 2018. Among top 100 arms-producing companies in the world, there are two Turkish companies, ASELSAN and Turkish Aerospace Industries, ranked as 61st and 70th in 2017, respectively. Although it is seen an increasing trend in the expenditures over 1960-2018 period, its share in GDP continuously falls over the same period, and reached to 2.5% in 2018. As the expenditures as a share of GDP, the industry ranks 27th in the world and 5th in Europe in 2018. When we examine per capita expenditures, it is seen an increasing trend over 1988-2018 period, and we see that there is five times increase from $50 in 1988 to $250 in 2010, and the industry ranks 46th in world with $232 per capita expenditure in 2018. When we analyze the share of expenditures in Turkish government spending over 2000-2018 period, it is found that the average is around 7% for 19 years, with the lowest 5.5% in 2015 and the highest 9.2% in 2000. As a share of government spending, there is a rapid downward trend in the expenditures from 2000 to 2015, this corresponds to 40% decrease, but this process is reversing after 2016, and reached to 7.1% in 2018. Accordingly, Thailand has established a framework for digital economy development alongside with the ?Thailand 4.0? policy to enhance the country competitiveness. As part of this initiative, healthcare services are profoundly promoted and aimed to be Asia?s capital of health and wellness, as well as a number of digital projects are initiated to drive forward this digitalization. Consequently, businesses in both ICT and healthcare sector should be beneficial from this policy, and should reveal in their financial performance. In corporate finance, firm?s dividend decision could provide useful information about firm performance, and might be taken into consideration when making their investment decision. This paper examines the relationship between dividend per share and financial performance using panel data from Thailand listed firms in ICT and healthcare sectors during the period 2009-2018. In order to investigate such relationship, return on asset (ROA) is a proxy for firm financial performance while firm size, asset tangibility and leverage are treated as controlled variables. Regression results confirms the differences of such relationship between the two sectors. In ICT sector, both firm size and dividend per share shows positive and significant relationship to the firm performance, which provide evidence in support of both Signaling and Bird-in-hand hypotheses of dividend policy theory. Contrary, there is no clear evidence from firms in the Healthcare sector, whose financial performance only depends significantly on asset tangibility but not on dividend. As well as the expected enhancement of academic reputation and the generation of income, these activities are triggered by governmental policies and strategies, namely the expectations towards a substantial rise in the ratio of international students at Hungarian institutions of higher education. Internationalisation is supported by the expansion of scholarship programmes available for foreign students, for example the Stipendium Hungaricum Programme, which was brought to life by a government decree in 2013 and amended in 2015. The aim of the study reported in the paper is to explore the motivations of Stipendium Hungaricum scholarship holders studying at the University of Gy?r (Széchenyi István University), Hungary as well as the challenges they face in an academic environment more often than not quite different from that in their home countries. The paper first briefly introduces the programme and overviews the results of Hungarian nationwide surveys on foreign students in general and Stipendium Hungaricum scholarship holders in particular. Then it moves on to discuss the findings of structured interviews carried out among master- and bachelor-level full-time Stipendium Hungaricum scholarship students at the University of Gy?r. The discussion focuses on three topics: (1) What motivated these students to apply for a relatively young rural university rather than more established rural universities or those located in the capital? (2) What aspects of instruction do they consider different from those in their home institutions? (3) What are their plans after graduation? The findings are believed to contribute to the better understanding of cross-cultural differences as well as to the creation of more effective international promotional campaigns. They belong to French diplomat Juie who visited Constantinople in XVI century. The letters comprise quite interesting information. Their scientific value is determined by the fact that they belong to the person, who got notifications from a direct informer. The importance of the given documents grows, because there are very scanty contemporaneous sources depicting a domestic as well as a foreign political situation of Georgia of the 16thcentury. It is not doubtful that the author of the letters was well acquainted with the political peripeteias of the Ottoman-Iranian War, which began in 1578. It had a great importance for the history of Georgia, because the Georgians actively participated in the war against Ottomans on the basis of the ?political Iranophilia?. Therefore, a factual material delivered by the diplomat is very interesting for the consideration of a political orientation of the Georgian principalities of the last quarter of the 16th century. It indirectly indicates that political Iranophilia of the Kingdom of Kartli resulted from a real assessment of the international situation created in western Transcaucasia and Near East. Military, political and diplomatic relations with Iran enabled the King of Kartli (Simon I) to base his plans on the usage of Iran and to involve this country as well as the Kingdom of Kartli in anti-Ottoman coalition of the European states. Therefore, Christian Georgia was a connecting bridge for Iran, which looked for an ally in Catholic west (Spain, France, Italy, Germany). This fact enabled Simon I to carry out the policy in relation to the Europeans.Three letters of French diplomat Juie reveal the Ottomans? preparation for a military expedition. These letters vividly depict how the Iranian government prevented the aggravation of the situation in the region. The position of the Georgian kings had a great significance in this respect. Therefore, these letters (together with the analogues Spanish and Italian sources) enable us to present a foreign policy of our country in the context of international relations and particularly, for the determination of the place occupied by Georgia in the Ottoman-Iranian diplomatic rivalry in western Europe. Friedman (1997) refers to ?production of urban habitat, the rise of civil society, and the question of power? as central to any planning theory. Simplified this refer to context, the centrality of society and decision making. This seems to provide cues of why a single understanding is maybe not ideal. Each of the three elements mentioned by Friedman is varying and shifting in nature, from there the difficulty of a single appreciation of theory. Within this understanding, collaboration as a planning practice and a threshold concept also share this multidimensional nature. This paper considers the juxtaposition of collaboration as both an urban planning construct and as a learning construct and starts to unpack a renewed understanding of collaboration as a value attribute. This is done through a diffracted (Barad, 2007) theoretical lens developed from social practice theory. The findings in this paper will focus on only the social practice conceptual framework and how collaborative learning theories are diffracted through the framework. A selection of collaborative learning theories was focussed on theorists such as Lave and Wenger, 1991; Wenger, 1998 and 2009; Dillenborough, 1999; Gherardi, 2000; Laurillard, 2012 and Dirkinck-Holmfeld, Hodgson, McConnell, 2012. These theories of collaboration were put in conversation (Collett, van den Berg, Verster and Bozalek, 2018) with social practice theory to obtain attributes of collaboration that are shared by social practice and collaborative planning education. Throughout the theoretical exploration, the focus is shifted from collaboration as a professional skill (doing) to a professional value (being). In conclusion, it is clear that a renewed understanding of collaboration as both a planning construct and a learning construct also necessitates a fresh consideration and interpretation of theories in both these domains. One of the main factors contributing to this is ?driving fatigue?. Previous research based on electromyographic evaluations has indicated that the optimal driving methods for reducing the upper limb load on drivers are an ?underside? grip position and the ?push?pull? steering operation technique. This previous research developed the systems that estimate the upper limb load during car driving. However, the systems developed only estimate the upper limb load based on a driving route assumed before driving a car: the problem being that actual driving operation is not considered. Therefore, we previously proposed a method for discriminating the grip position when steering on a straight road to estimate the upper limb load based on steering wheel operation during actual driving. This study now proposes a method for discriminating the modes of steering operation during turns to the right and left. First, we conduct an experiment with a motion sensor and a simple driving simulator to detect the two modes of steering-wheel operation (hand-over-hand steering and push?pull steering) on turning a corner. The 10 subjects (5 males and 5 females) perform the steering operation for each mode according to driving videos. It is found that the modes of steering operation can be discriminated because there are differences in the measurement results of the motion sensor for the two modes Second, using the experimental results, the method of steering operation is discriminated through machine learning with a support vector machine (SVM), supplying the SVM with the average value, standard deviation, maximum value, and minimum value of the measurements taken during steering operation. The discrimination accuracy rate of the test data is found by 5-fold cross-validation to be 97.5%. The considered objects have very diverse characters. They are biological sequences in bioinformatics and groups of individuals and their answers to some questions in the case of health and social sciences. In particular, we present a new bioinformatics method in which the biological sequences are represented by 3D-dynamic graphs [1]. For comparison of such objects we apply values analogous to these used in the classical dynamics. This method is a generalization of the 2D method [2]. Similarity is relative: it depends on the properties being considered. Examples of similarity maps for different properties (factors) in social science [3,4], in bioinformatics [1], and unpublished results in the health sciences are shown. In this way, we can classify different objects and search for factors which influence the results of the classifications.[1] P. W??, D. Title: AN INTEGRATED APPROACH FOR BUILDING A SUSTAINABLE CITY DEVELOPMENT ASSESSMENT MODEL Abstract: In recent years, countries around the world have proposed the vision of future cities such as ?smart cities?, ?sustainable cities? and ?inclusive cities?. Cities have also proposed relevant policies and measures, and hope to create a livable place. However, the composition of the city is wide and complex, and the future city is not only able to consider only one aspect. The planning of the future city should incorporate the concept of smartness, suatainability and inclusiveness. With the application of novel technologies in the future, the effective use and management of urban resources can be achieved, and the social network of citizens tends to be fair and harmonious, which enables the city to move towards sustainable urban development. Based on the planning criteria of smart cities, sustainable cities, and inclusive cities, this study will construct an assessment framework that is consistent with future cities. Through the Fuzzy Delphi Method (FDM) and the Analytic Network Process (ANP), the future urban development evaluation model is constructed considering the priority of its evaluation criteria. Finally, an empirical analysis of the future urban assessment model for Taichung City, Taiwan will be conducted to verify the suitability of the model and propose further planning strategies. This challenges healthcare professionals, especially nurses, to recognize the beliefs and actions of patients from different national origins, ages, religious affiliations, languages, genders, sexual orientations, socioeconomic and occupational statuses, and geographical locations, among others. Not only do nurses deliver healthcare service closely to patients, but they also have to possess knowledge, attitudes, and skills that make diverse patients feel comfortable and at ease with them. Moreover, nurses have to maintain good communication with their patients for better healthcare service quality, ultimately, satisfying patients. For this reason, the cultural intelligence (CQ) is a significant capability of nurses. CQ determines how nurses are able to interact in service healthcare encounter with patients from various backgrounds. The objective of this study is to investigate nurses? CQ. The target respondents are nurses in both private and public hospitals in Bangkok, Thailand, because they have much more opportunities to interact with multifarious patients. Nurses will be measured CQ according to Ang et al.?s model (2007) including four dimensions, namely, metacognitive, cognitive, motivational, and behavioral. Confirmatory factor analysis will be utilized for data analysis. The expected result is that nurses possess all four CQ dimensions with different weights. The implication of this study is to gain a better understanding of CQ of nurses in Thai context for healthcare improvement which leads to enhance patients? satisfaction. An eco-fund is an SRI-type investment trust that invests in environment-friendly companies, also known as ?eco-excellent? companies. In many cases, the process of choosing the companies to be included in the trust is not transparent and, due to subjective decisions by fund managers, it is not clear how the investment rate is determined. In this study, we propose four eco-funds and evaluate their performance. Since the risk of the eco-fund should be distributed, the investment rate will be determined so that the percentage of the top brands is low. The portfolio should consist of brands with high efficiency in environmental investment.First, we evaluate a company?s environmental management capability and profitability using quantitative data such as the amount of sales, greenhouse gas emissions, and ROE (return on equity). We then determine a set of brands for the eco-funds to invest in. To determine the investment rate for each stock or portfolio, an environmental minimum variance frontier is calculated. The proposed eco-funds are (1) EEC fund, (2) Beta fund, (3) Expanded beta fund, and (4) Environmental index fund. (1) The EEC fund invests in brands that perform well both in terms of environmental management based on carbon productivity and profitability based on ROE. (2) The Beta fund invests in brands that perform well both in environmental management based on carbon productivity beta values and earnings efficiency based on ROE. (3) The Expanded beta fund invests in brands that perform well only in environmental management based on carbon productivity beta values; it includes more brands than the Beta fund. (4) The Environmental index fund invests in all the brands considered and is a benchmark to measure the performance of the other eco-funds. On the basis of the outcomes of the survey, a number of themes will be explored. Firstly, do law students (at the UWI, Cave Hill Campus) have different learning styles from other students at the UWI Cave Hill Campus? The basis of comparison will be a study of learning styles of UWI Cave Hill students (Corbin, 2017) which applied the Grasha-Riechmann survey. Secondly, having understood the learning styles of the law students through the survey, can it be argued as a policy position that the Law School should be encouraged to assess the learning styles of each incoming student year in order to align teaching methods for the better performance of law students. Thirdly, though understanding learning styles can be useful to improving student performance, it is critical to recognize that it can be misleading to teach according to the dominant learning styles. This critical insight is important for law students because lawyers as professionals need to be competent in all learning styles, so perhaps a better approach would be to teach to various learning styles across the entire Law School. Fourthly, the survey of the learning styles of the law students can be the start of a longitudinal study to assess whether the learning styles change over the life-time of their legal education. Abstract: The struggle for finding good employees in Austrian companies is in full swing, and it rests as a big problem on the desks of recruitment marketers and HR departments. Aside from a general shortage due to demographic developments, a new generation of future employees (the ?Z? generation) is growing up, and will be present on the labour markets in a very short time. These young people have been raised under completely different (technological, economic, and social) conditions and, in turn, have different expectations of their future job life and employers. Experience as well as literature on employment related expectations, motivation, and behaviours of Gen Z representatives is scarce, which makes it hard for companies to shape their job offerings in an efficient and effective way, matching the demands of this group. In order to contribute to a better understanding of this phenomenon, a large-scale mixed-method research was undertaken, six focus groups with 43 participants and 550 personal interviews with pupils and young students were conducted in Austria. The motivation was to identify and categorize criteria, which might distinguish an ?attractive from an average job? in the eyes of a Gen X candidate. Factor analysis methods were employed to reveal the categories that matter for this group. The findings suggest that the most important criteria for Gen X members are predominantly ?social?, namely team spirit, working atmosphere, job-life-integration. ?Factual? arguments like salary, job security, career advancement and task diversity only play a secondary role. The HOW is more important than the WHAT. A paradigm shift seems to gain momentum: Currently, most current job descriptions emphasize "what" statements: "What are your tasks??; "what are opportunities for development?"; or "what is expected from you?". However, Generation Z seems to be much more concerned about the "HOW": "How does it feel to work here?"; "how does my team function?"; "How will my working day in this company look like?"; or " how diversified and exciting is my job?" Salary, job security and a financially stable company are still relevant, but they are not in the foreground. In addition, trends such as home office or high tech equipment of the office appeared to be not too catchy. The paper ends with recommendations for HR-representatives, including a better visualization of team spirit and working atmosphere, raising awareness for the social aspect of work, and establishing tangible elements of ?how it is to work in that company?.
