The emerging balance between intergovernmentalism and supranationalism tilted toward the former at the expense of the latter contriving to the post-Maastricht trend. Member states and the supranational EU institutions have been divided in their approach to the refugee crisis viewing it as either a national security or a human security issue. This clash of perspectives, it is argued, may not only slow the pace of integration but it is also likely to reverse the spillover affects achieved so far. Thus, the most feasible and likely response for the EU is to seek a middle way between the views of the EU actors who prioritize the refugee crisis as primarily a human security issue and those who regard it firstly as a national security issue. This has led to a change in individuals' attitudes towards death, which is apparently influenced by social and cultural factors. Therefore, this research aimed to measure individuals' attitudes towards death and to explore the relationship between lifestyle and attitudes towards death and its variants. In this survey study, 415 middle-aged adults aged 40-65 years were studied in Kerman. Descriptive statistics of the study showed that 14%, 68.7%, and 17.3% of the respondents had negative, neutral, and positive attitudes towards death, respectively. The relationship between lifestyle and attitudes towards death and its variants was confirmed; however, the relationship between demographic variables (gender, marital status, level of education, and income) and attitudes towards death was rejected and their relationship with attitude variants was confirmed. Twelve percent of dependent variable variance was explained by four variables (namely body management, leisure-time activities, consumption of cultural goods, and gender). Concerning the variants of attitudes towards death, some variances of the variables fear of death (5%), death avoidance (6.1%), escape acceptance (4.5%), approach acceptance (8.7%), and neutral acceptance (13%) were also explained by the independent variables consumption of cultural goods, leisure-time activities, body management, gender, marital status, level of education and income. The present study aimed to investigate the relationship psychological distress, social support and quality of life among victims of domestic violence. For this purpose, various NGO?s in Delhi and NCR who support victims of domestic violence were approached. The subjects included 100 married women (22-45 years of age) who were victims of domestic violence. SSQ (Sarason, I.G., Levine, H.M., Basham, R.B., et al. (1983), DAS-21 (Marianna Szabo, 2010), and WHOQOL-BREF (WHO, 1996) were employed. Correlation coefficient and regression analysis was done. The findings suggested that both psychological and psychosocial factors such as depression, anxiety, stress, social appraisal, belongingness and tangibility can have a significant impact on quality of life of victims of domestic violence. Among the viewpoints to understand the status of childhood is the concept of social representation. Childhood is conceptualized in the study as a transversal topic that transcends many fields and is analyzed from a multidisciplinary perspective. Social representation is characterized in the text as a tool to construct analysis of social realities, while social pedagogy is characterized as an emancipatory practice. The conflict between dominant and alternative social representations of childhood is also explored, elaborating on the ambivalent and diffuse images of childhood in neoliberal society. The conclusions of this analysis show that the unclear status of childhood in society casts doubt of the paradigm of children's rights, that ostensibly being the official approach to childhood on the policy side in democratic societies. This ambivalence then prevents children's rights from being a central approach to the children's world in the field of social pedagogy. The article is a theoretical study based on the analysis of specialist sources and their interpretations; it uses descriptive, analytical and hermeneutic-interpretative methods. In May, 2014, a survey is applied to 537espondents selected via stratified sampling from Eski?ehir, a city of Turkey with 700.000 inhabitants where 500 of the responses are found eligible... The respondents are required to answer 35 questions of which five are related to demographic characteristics of these respondents. The rest 30 are statements which are designed to reflect the behavior of these people. The study consists of five parts. The first part is an introduction where the scope and the purpose of the study are concisely stated. The second part relates to the theoretical background of the subject matter and the prior researches carried out so far. The third part deals with research methodology, basic premises and hypotheses attached to these premises. Research model and analyses take place in this section. Theoretical framework is built and a variable name is assigned to each of the question asked or proposition forwarded to the respondents of this survey. 30 statements or propositions given to the respondents are placed on a five-point Likert scale. The remaining five questions about demographic traits as age, gender, occupation, educational level and monthly income are placed either on a nominal or ratio scale with respect to the nature of the trait. Four research hypotheses are formulated in this section. The fourth part mainly deals with the results of the hypothesis tests and a factor analysis is applied to the data on hand. Here exploratory factor analysis reduces 30 variables to six basic components as: as: " Consumer discontent, ad disapproval, consumer alienation, consumer assertiveness and redress, propensity to complain, claim for apology or refund" Cronbach's Alpha for scale reliability is quite high (a = 0.788) and so is the sample adequacy ratio (KMO = 0.883) In addition non-parametric bivariate analysis in terms of Chi-Square is applied to test the hypotheses formulated in this respect. The fifth part is the conclusion where findings of this survey are listed. Abstract: It is envisaged that Donald Trump won the US Presidential election due to his distinct political strategy, termed as ?Trumpism? or ?Trump factor?. Through comparative and critical thinking, two considerations have been suggested that can possibly answer why Trumpism politics could be appealing. First, Trump was not hesitant to state his views even if these sounded radical: no sweet words, no inhibitions. Furthermore, Trump is sending a message that there is a limit to where one can arrive with diplomacy and partnership agreements for global security issues that are of immense importance to society like: uncontrolled immigration, ISIS terror and North Korean threats. This article can serve as a platform for thorough academic research on Trumpism. A survey on the US-Trump population followed by a number of focus group meetings can tell whether Trump was elected by default or because people desired his radical ideologies.
