ICT is a global link to all facets of life and educational system in Nigeria is left out in this new technological development. ICT which include radio, television, computer, internet among others have been praised as potentially powerful enabling tools for educational change and reform, but the Nigerian educational system has failed to create such enabling environment that will enhance effective implementation of ICT in educational system. There are lots of uncertainties that impede the effective implementation of ICT in Nigerian educational system, these factors include incompetency of the teachers, inadequate facilities, lack of refresher training courses given to teachers, insecurity challenges, and poor teaching methodology. Having seen the afore mentioned problems in Nigerian educational system, this research tends to address these problems by implementing the application of ICT in revitalizing the Nigerian educational system. This could be achieved by introducing ICT in the school system as well as given adequate supervision on the implementation to ensure a huge success. The research was guided by two research questions and a structured questionnaire to elicit information from the respondents. The research has proved that conducting refresher training for teachers, provision of adequate laboratory facilities, provision of conducive enabling environment, effective and cognitive teaching strategies and methods should be adopted to arose the learners interest and enhance the performances of the students. The researcher recommended that there should be a thorough supervision from the educational board to ensure adequate implementation of ICT in Nigerian educational system. However, little is known about how the preceptors perceive nursing students during their practicum in a Chinese society. The study used a focused ethnography to explore clinical preceptor perceptions of nursing student performance in professional attitudes, knowledge, theory, and nursing skills. The preceptors were from critical-care, surgical, and medical units of hospitals, health-care centers, and nursing homes. Twenty clinical preceptors participated in 30-60 minute interviews that were transcribed and analyzed. One principal theme that emerged from the study was the need for greater professionalism. The nursing professional demeanor of students theme includes subthemes of active behaviors, having ?heart? or attitude intent to learn to do the work of nursing, and demonstrating a professional image. If nursing students show these attributes during clinical experiences, it was believed that all other learning would take place easily. Academic educators and clinical preceptors are in the best position to foster student development and expressions of professionalism. The discussion is based on a social constructionist analysis of a semi-structured interview. It provides the readers with interesting stimulating data and can be the starting point of an interesting conversation about the potential struggles that LGTBIQ+ teachers and LGTBIQ+ people in general face in Greece. It is part of a larger research project regarding gender and educational leadership in Greece. Communication Skills for the Global Workplace: A Cross-Cultural Online Exchange Project with Non-Native Speakers Abstract: Teaching English as a Foreign Language (EFL) at universities with a distinct focus on science and engineering, we have found that one of the major challenges is a perceived lack of motivation in our students. Though acknowledging the theoretical importance of English as the lingua franca of science and business, students often do not appreciate the importance of its practical application when they enrol in technical degree courses. In order to stimulate and engage our students, we introduced a communicative business project to our respective courses from 13th April 2018 ? 22nd June 2018. Our aim was to provide a very practical and first-hand experience of how English may be an essential part of professional interaction. In groups, students were asked to produce two short videos. The first was an introduction of their team and the second gave business advice pertinent to a person visiting their country from the other country. To accomplish these assignments, students had to communicate regularly with their partner-group via a chat app on their mobile phones. Thus, cross-cultural communication was not only encouraged but became a crucial tool to complete given tasks successfully. Despite a number of hindrances, the students were able to complete the task and also said they benefitted from doing the project. Further projects were planned however, more research is needed to illuminate what factors helped this project succeed. The aim of this paper is to investigate the correlation between the short Cognitive Reflection Test and the long Cognitive Reflection Test (CRT), the gender effect and the educational level effect on short CRT and long CRT, as well as the Granger causality between the two ones.Design / Methodology / Approach ? A statistical analyze was provided and econometric measures and tests were used, in EViews and SPSS, like the Pearson Correlation Coefficient and the Granger Causality. A critical assessment of literature review was made. For collecting the data, quantitative methods were used (questionnaires).Findings - There is a significant, strong and positive correlation between the short Cognitive Reflection Test version (short CRT) and the long version (long CRT), long CRT Granger causes short CRT, girls outperformed boys on each educational level.Practical implications - Long CRT could be an alternative for short CRT, which is now overexposed and widely known.Originality / Value - Once thinking system 2 is trigged by completing another questionnaire, the results on CRT in either version increased, even if the nature of the other questionnaire is completely different.Limitations ? The other questionnaire was administrated only for high school students. Future research should be conducted in order to trig the thinking system 2 before administrating the test for secondary school and university students too.
