CONSUMER DRIVEN OR SINGLE PAYER HEALTH CARE SYSTEM

Abstract:

Over the last four decades total health expenditures are dramatically risen. And also population projections showed 65 plus person is expected to almost double. Because of this situation cost efficient policies from the health research in health care could prevent the fiscal deteorition. In this context, creating policies in health sector on tax system by enhancing new technology ad productivity considered by public sector. In this study single payer and consumer driven health care system are compared in 12 OECD countries. As a result of this policies based on taxes are developed and these policies can help to motivate enterpreneurs and affect public policy. So we want to measure the quality and costs of consumer driver system and single payer system. As a result to show the advantages and disadvantages of new health care system which is consumer driven health care system.
