INNOVATION OF THE POLISH ENTERPRISES IN COMPARISON WITH THE SELECTED EU COUNTRIES

Abstract:

Innovation is the basis for the competitiveness of enterprises and the source of competitive advantage of economies. For this reason, supporting innovative activities is a priority for almost all economies. The aim of the presentation is to verify the level of innovation of Polish enterprises and compare the results with other European Union countries including: the scale of innovative activities of enterprises, factors determining the innovativeness of enterprises, conditions for conducting innovative activities, investments in R&D etc. Therefore, the undertaken issue aims to assess the level of innovation of the Polish economy and Polish enterprises in the international context and to create a space for discussion on activities supporting innovation. In the implementation of this task, publicly available data and indicators published by Eurostat and the European Commission will be used.
