Céline Piton, Ph.D.
National Bank of Belgium

Céline Piton is Head of the Research and Modelling Unit within the Economics and Research Department of the National Bank of Belgium.  She has obtained her PhD in Economics with a thesis entitled “The labour market performance of vulnerable groups: towards a better understanding of the main driving forces.” She joined the Bank’s Economics and Research Department in 2015, where she first specialised in labour market challenges, focusing in particular on migrants and women, before expanding her research to the economic impact of digitalisation. Today, she leads a team of economists conducting policy-oriented research based on macroeconomic models and rich microdata.

Katarzyna Woźniak-Jasińska, Ph.D.
Poznań University of Economics and Business

Katarzyna Woźniak-Jasińska is a researcher at the Poznań University of Economics and Business, Department of Macroeconomics and Development Studies. She received her Ph.D. in 2019 in the field of economics and finance. Her research focuses on labour economics, with particular emphasis on sickness presenteeism, remote and hybrid work, employee well-being, and flexible work arrangements. She has published in journals such as Economic and Labour Relations Review, Journal of International Studies, Economics and Business Review, and International Journal of Heritage Studies. She has also co-authored a book published by Palgrave Macmillan. She has been involved in nationally funded research projects, including the “Economics in the Face of the New Economy” initiative under the Regional Initiative for Excellence programme of the Polish Ministry of Science and Higher Education, and has served as principal investigator of the project “Hybrid working from the perspective of employees: attitudes, preferences and presenteeism,” funded by the National Science Centre (NCN), Poland. She is also a recipient of scholarships from the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA) and the International Visegrad Fund.
