THE EFFECTIVENESS OF TEACHING LANGUAGE THROUGH THE RECEIVING THEORY. (ARABIC LANGUAGE AS AN EXAMPLE)

Abstract:

The concept of this study is based on the application of the acceptance theory based on active communication between the author, the text and the public. This makes the reception process related to the reader and the creator. It conveys the sender's experience and content. Or the reader who accepts the text and its effects and appendices with all its values, ideas and feelings, whether positive or negative of acceptance or rejection or even pleasure or resentment. This means that the communication process in its entirety is based on the resulting reactions to the text. The study process is a process based on action and reaction, giving and giving, and between influence and impact, acceptance or not. The idea of ​​this research stemmed from the study of the idea of ​​teaching Arabic language, The educational process to provide a conceptual basis based on the methodology of receiving based on the binary reader and communication. And provide some models through them. The theory of reception is centered on the idea that literary work "can be achieved only through effective communication between the author and the text and the receiving audience, this communication is the basis of the educational process, communication between the teacher (sender), and the recipient (learner). This study attempts to determine the effectiveness of using this method in the teaching of the Arabic language, considering that the language is essentially a communication tool, and its teaching is based on communication between the teacher and the student. And to demonstrate the feasibility of the way in which students receive basic language skills: reading, writing, and speaking. By promoting the use of critical reading skills and encouraging communication and discussion of the reader's views. and when we drop this theory on teaching languages (Arabic language as an example), we consider the student as the reader, which is the focus of the educational process, which is the space through which the methods can be adopted to teach. good teaching starts from the level of the student and his knowledge, and get off to other levels accordingly, Based on the level of interaction of students; understanding, interpretation and discussion.
