A TIGHTENING OF COOPERATION BETWEEN HIGHER EDUCATION AND THE LABOR MARKET - CREATING ALTERNATIVE MOBILITY OPPORTUNITIES THROUGH A STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP

Abstract:

The analysis of job market shows that there is a lack of alumni with practical knowledge of quantitative methods and experienced in multicultural cooperation. Because of the increasing globalization on the financial markets, it is also important to give students a chance to meet experts and students of other backgrounds and gain a comparative perspective. Additionally, the crisis of trust after the last financial crisis made investors to verify the existing law and to establish new ethic standards. Understanding the importance of students’ needs and facing demand from job market, the universities decide to developed their partnership with representatives from the labor market. The purpose of the article is to show an example of an existing strategic partnership through the specially created mobility intensive programme.
